Story
I am a graphic designer with an interactive focus, living in the San Francisco Bay area. While I primarily design and conceptualize interactive experiences, I also design brand identities, posters, and other print materials.
As a young'un, I loved to paint and draw. However, when it was time to pick universities, I thought I would have to abandon my artistic side to keep from living out the starving artist cliché. While I was at U.C. Berkeley, I saw an opportunity to combine my education in media strategy with my passion for art. Insert angelic light here. I decided to start working as a freelance graphic designer.
Today, my focus is strategic design. Which basically means, instead of just designing what looks pretty, I have the self-destructive habit of needing my designs to actually work for the audience too.
